Vesak, Wesak or Buddha Day, as it can be otherwise known, celebrates the birth, enlightenment and death of Siddhartha Gautama commonly known as the Buddha. As such it is celebrated widely across Asia with different regions practicing different traditions.

All students and staff from across the University are welcome and the event is free of charge. We hope to fundraise money to support Supporting Nepal's Children. Any donations will be kindly received and are accepted by card on the day.
