Varsity…

Varsity is the pinnacle sporting showdown between the University of Roehampton and Buckingham New University. A tradition since 2013, it has grown into a deep-rooted rivalry, with both universities going head-to-head over seven hours of intense competition. Athletes give blood, sweat, and tears in pursuit of victory and the chance to lift the prestigious Roebuck Trophy.

Sunday 8th & Wednesday 11th March - Join us to regain the Roebuck trophy.

Each victory is awarded one point, with draws earning half a point. At the final whistle, the university with the highest overall score will be crowned the 2026 Varsity Champions.

Tickets are priced at £15 and include return coach travel to and from Buckingham New University, a Varsity souvenir t-shirt, and the opportunity to take in all the sporting action throughout the day.
