The awards ceremony will be taking place on Friday 22 May 2026 (18:30-23:45) in Monte Hall

Accessibility Information & Requirements

Carers:
We are happy to provide a free ticket for carers. If you’ll be attending with a carer, please email us at rsu@roehampton.ac.uk to organise your ticket.
Lighting:
There will be no special effect lighting (e.g., strobe lights) used at the venue. However, please be advised that event lighting may be used. This could include static coloured lights.
Sound:
Please be aware, music may be played during the event. However, to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all attendees, music will be kept at a reasonable volume.
Venue Accessibility:
Union Bar: There is step-free access around the venue and inside the bar. There is wheelchair access to the bar through a ramp located on the decking outside in the courtyard. There is also an accessible toilet situated in the venue, operated with a Radar Key. Staff at the event, and in the Union Bar will have a Radar Key to hand if required.

Seating:
The Union Bar has a mixture of high tables and stools, as well as dining tables with either stalls or backed chairs. If you have any specific accessibility requirements for seating, please contact us at rsu@roehampton.ac.uk for support.
Service Animals:
Service animals are more than welcome at the event!
Dress Code
The dress code for this event is formal attire.
Dietary Requirments
Free food will be provided at the event.
If you have any dietary requirements, please outline this on your tickets.
Please also ensure that you speak to a member of catering staff during the event about your dietary requirements.
Guest Policy
Students are welcome to bring one guest to the RSU & Sport Awards 2026
- Guests must have a “guest ticket” that has been purchased by a registered student at Roehampton University.
- Guest tickets must include the full name of the guest.
- Guests must provide a form of 18+ ID that matches the name listed on their guest ticket. Failure to produce matching ID may result in denied entry to the event.
- Students must attend the event with their guest. Unaccompanied guests will not be permitted entry to the event.
- Students’ are responsible for the behaviour and conduct of their guest. By bringing a guest, you accept this responsibility.
