Presidents' Committee…

Presidents’ Committee is your chance to be heard and help shape the direction of your Students’ Union.

This monthly meeting brings together your elected RSU President, Vice-President Education, Vice-President Welfare and four College Presidents to discuss ideas and feedback submitted by students like you. Whether it’s a new policy, a change to how things are run, or a bold new initiative, this is where it all begins.

What happens at the meeting?

• Student-submitted ideas are reviewed and debated.
• Feedback from reps, networks, and students is considered.
• Decisions are made on whether ideas become official Union Policy or go to a campus-wide referendum
  

Got an idea?

 Submit it online through the Students' Union website here! All you need is:

• A title
• What you want to change
• Why it matters
• What you want the Union to do

An idea can be anything from campaigning for free period products, asking for improved relaxation spaces on campus, through to additional student support during exam periods. This is your opportunity to let the SU know what is important to you.

When?

Presidents’ Committee meets once a month during term time, and is made up of our four College Presidents and three Sabbatical Officers. Check the Union website for upcoming dates and submission deadlines.
