The Masquerade Ball is an eco-friendly masked event where Bridgerton comes to Roehampton.
This event is supported by a programme of sustainability-focused activities in the weeks leading up to Green Week. It is a unique evening that is not only glamourous and fun, but addresses the environmental impact of fast fashion and embeds sustainability into campus social life.
You will have the opportunity to participate in:
- Free mask-making workshops
- Free ballroom dance classes (every Wednesday from 4pm-6pm at Monte Hall, Froebel College), for ticket Holders only
- A cloth-swap event
- Red Carpet and event professional photography
- Free complimentary drinks at the ball (both non-alcoholic and alcoholic)
- Free entrance into Cabaret Night (Live Music) after the ball at the Union Bar.
It encourages reuse, repair, and creative repurposing of formalwear and accessories, ensuring that celebration does not come at the cost of sustainability.
