Give It A Grow: Outdoor Veg Sowing
Polytunnel, Froebel
Join us in one of our regular Give It A Grow sessions every Thursday 11-1pm where we plant, grow and harvest veg, fruits and herbs!
Spend time with us in our polytunnel, allotments and forest garden and get your daily dose of nature while helping us grow fresh, organic produce, support local wildlife and provide access to green spaces for the wider community.
Drop in/out every Thursday between 11-1pm with every volunteer receiving a free coffee/tee from the Hive Cafe!

Venue Accessibility:
Access to the venue is step free, and accessible around the polytunnel, but the polytunnel itself is not accessible for wheelchair users. Additionally, due to the natural terrain, some areas of the ground may be uneven. However, we do have worktops outside of the polytunnel that wheelchair users can use during the session. We also have kneeling supports available too!
Lighting:
As the sessions take place outdoors, lighting will be weather dependent. In good weather, there may be direct/dappled sunlight.
Temperatures:
The Polytunnel is generally warmer than outdoor air, so it could still be hot in early September depending on weather. We encourage attendees to bring plenty of water with them to ensure they are cool!
Service Animals:
Service animals are more than welcome at the event!
