The Annual Human Rights Campaign is a yearly campaign that the international ELSA Network hosts in collaboration with the Council of Europe, to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding human rights whilst creating a forum for the voice of law students and young lawyers across Europe.
Each year the campaign focuses on a different human rights related topic, which the Network must address and promote through their own initiatives, aiming to raise awareness on the Campaign’s topic.
This year’s focus is on the environment and the impact of the changing climate on human rights; ELSA Roehampton is focusing on ‘Climate-Induced Migration and Refugee Rights’.
⚖️ Join us for an interdisciplinary discussion on the topic, the recommended solutions to address climate-induced migration, the challenges in protecting refugee rights during migration and the alternative solutions proposed by our panelists.
