Back by popular demand... it's the annual Southlands Christmas Lights Walk!
Bringing students and staff together its the best way to get in the mood for the festive season.
Join us in The Reef at 3.30 pm sharp as you'll be warmly greeted with some festive refreshments.
After which, we will take public transport to Bond Street station in London, where the walk will begin. If you wish to join the walk at Bond Street instead, please email southlands.college@roehampton.ac.uk after signing up to request the joining instructions.
Expect to see the elegant 'Spirit of Christmas' lights on Regent Street as well as the famous Carnaby Lights! There will also be a chance to browse the Christmas markets and watch the skaters on Somerset House's Ice Rink. The walk will conclude at the Southbank Christmas Market, located next to Waterloo Station, for onward travel.
Please be aware that the walk will last up to 3 hours with plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos. Expect some cold weather, so be sure to dress appropriately.
The walk is FREE to sign up, however you will need to be prepared to pay with a contactless card for public transport from Barnes station.
