Burns Night is a traditional Scottish annual event to celebrate the life and works of Robert Burns - an 18th century Scottish poet whose works are still performed all over the world today. (You could say he's the Scottish equivalent of William Shakespeare!)
Burns Night is celebrated all over the world, and Digby Stuart are inviting YOU to come and experience it for yourself at our very own Roehampton Burns Night on Thursday 30th January from 6pm in the Digby Diner!
At this event you can...
🍽️ Eat a traditional Scottish meal including neeps, tatties, and the chance to try Scotland's most famous dish - haggis! 👀
👂 Listen to some of Burns' poetry read by our very own Head of Campus Safety and Security (and proud Scotsman!) Barrie Stewart.
🎵 Enjoy traditional Scottish music and try some highland dancing!
👋 Meet friends old and new within your college community!
Tickets cost just £5 to include all of the above, plus a few surprises in store! Be sure to grab your ticket quickly as they are strictly limited!
