Digby Square, Digby Campus
Join us in Digby Square at 1pm on Friday 6th October for a thought-provoking workshop by Youth Flame on the importance of 'agroecology' in combatting the climate disaster and what we can all do to create a more just and abundant world!
Youth Flame are a grassroots movement for food justice, orchestrated by young people. They are the youth branch of the Landworkers Alliance.
In this workshop, Youth Flame will explore core principles of agroecology and draw inspiration from international youth movements who make change through promoting and enacting agroecology where they are, and start dreaming and scheming about what it is we can do where we are. They'll also share about FLAME, who they are and what they stand for, and how young people can get involved with their movement.
There'll also be the farmers market in Digby Square during this time so why not get your hands on some locally-grown produce and listen to a riveting talk on the importance of food in combatting the climate disaster? We'll see you there!
