One of our biggest social events of the year... The Froebel College Christmas Dinner!
Join us as Froebel College celebrates the season of goodwill at our annual Christmas Dinner — the biggest and most iconic festive celebration at the University of Roehampton!
With a tradition stretching back decades, the Froebel Christmas Dinner brings students together for an unforgettable evening of food, music and festive cheer. We begin at 6pm with a ‘Winter Warmer’ and hot-chocolate drinks reception in the Union Bar, before heading to Montefiore Hall for a banquet-seated-style two-course traditional Christmas dinner.
After dessert, the celebrations continue back in the Union Bar with a warm-up karaoke hosted by the Roehampton Music Society, and then a DJ will take us through to the end of the night.
Known for its fun and informal atmosphere, the Froebel Christmas Dinner always includes a few festive surprises… and perhaps even a visit from a certain special guest — but only if you’ve been good this year....!
Although the event is hosted by Froebel College, students from all Colleges are warmly welcome, whether you live on campus or commute.
Dress Code: Something Christmassy!
As tradition dictates, we ask everyone to come dressed in festive attire.
Froebel on-campus residents (Aspen, Willow, Linden, Chadwick Hall, New Court, Old Court and Garden Court):
Each block will adopt a themed fancy-dress style — we’ll be announcing these very soon...
Students from other Colleges or living off-campus:
Feel free to wear anything festive (yes, even a Christmas jumper!), or choose from one of Froebel’s classic Christmas Dinner themes: Angels, Elves, Santa or Ms Santa, Reindeer, or Kids on Christmas Morning (pyjamas and nightwear).

Tickets
You may purchase up to four tickets for yourself and your guests. Please remember to provide your guests’ names and any dietary requirements during checkout. All attendees must bring their Roehampton Student ID card to gain entry.
